It comes with standard safety equipment such as forward collision warning (FCW), automatic emergency braking (AEB), blind spot warning (BSW), and rear cross-traffic warning (RCTW).

For 2023, the Kia Niro has received a series of physical, technological and mechanical enhancements that aim at keeping it at the top. It now provides over 400 kilometres of range and an upgraded, premium exterior style, among other enhancements.
